Nancy Rondeaux is the Managing Director of Business Continuity and Corporate Strategy with the Nova Scotia Department of Emergency Management. She previously served as the Executive Director of the Climate Change Division at the Department of Environment and Climate Change, where she led Nova Scotia’s plan to transition to a net-zero emissions economy by 2050, oversaw the carbon pricing program and directed the development of the provincial climate change risk assessment.
Since joining the Nova Scotia public service in 2006, Nancy has held several roles with the Department of Energy, most recently as Director, where she was responsible for energy efficiency programming, energy transition initiatives and renewable energy policy. Before entering the public sector, she spent 8 years working in France with Engie and in engineering consulting.
She holds an Environmental Engineering degree from the University of Guelph. Nancy was appointed to the Public Service Superannuation Plan Trustee Inc. Board in April 2023.
