Paula Boyd

Paula is currently the Chief Pension Officer of the HRM Pension Plan. Previously she was the Nova Scotia Superintendent of Pensions working with the department of Finance and Treasury Board. Prior to becoming the Superintendent of Pensions, she was a consulting actuary with Morneau Shepell and before that with Mercer.

Paula is a member of the Canadian Association of Pension Supervisory Authorities and is a Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries. She is a graduate of Acadia University. Paula was appointed to the Public Service Superannuation Plan Trustee Inc. in 2017.
