Chris is currently the Executive Director, Business Relationship Management with Nova Scotia’s Internal Services Department. Chris has also served as Associate Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Tourism, and held other senior executive positions throughout the Nova Scotia Government, including with the departments of Education, Environment and Labour.
Prior to his work in government, he held positions with a number of Nova Scotian consulting firms and is a former member of the Canadian Forces reserves.
Chris holds an undergraduate honours degree in Biological Sciences and a master’s degree in Environmental Studies (MES), both from Dalhousie University. He lives in Halifax with his wife and three children.
Chris was appointed to the Public Service Superannuation Plan Trustee Inc. in 2013.
